Today I replaced the 7200 RPM 250GB Hard Drive in my laptop with a 120GB SSD. Here are the Xbench Disk Test results:
More important though is how the system feels: blazing fast – I never expected this level of improvement!

Such an improvement in launch, eh? I remember Mark Jaquith posting videos of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator loading — instant!

Yep, pretty much instant everything. I don't think I'll ever buy a computer without an SSD again 🙂

I’m constantly amazed by the speed of my SSD equipped MBP. Boot time is barely anything now, and even Super Duper clones to a spinning HD backup drive are unnoticeable. Just the best upgrade ever.
